Protect Trans Youth-Contact Governor Dewine

Let’s be clear – HB 68 is extreme government overreach and state-sponsored bullying of trans and gender non-conforming Ohioans.
Legislators have no business banning evidence-based science, especially affirming, professionally endorsed services by physicians, mental health professionals, and other licensed providers OR barring them from participating in sports. Trans youth belong, and discrimination has no place in our state.
TAKE ACTION: Contact Governor DeWine and tell him to VETO HB 68.

Dead Fukushima Fish; Insane KOP28 Goes Nuke-Crazy; Ending Hate In The Middle East

We start GREEP ZOOM #160 with a discussion of Ohio’s newly legalized pot access, and the insane interventions against abortion in Texas and Ohio.
KARL GROSSMAN explains some of the horrors of the radioactive release at Fukushima, Japan, which has been followed by the predicable mass death of millions of sardines and mackerel in northern Japan.
Karl has reviewed RADIOACTIVE: THE WOMEN OF THREE MILE ISLAND by Heidi Hutner, featuring four stalwart women whose health and families have been decimated by radioactive fallout from the 1979 TMI disaster.
KAT KRAMER reminds us of her great work with Kat Kramer’s Films that Change the World which will feature the WOMEN OF THREE MILE ISLAND, perhaps in March.
Karl further describes the KOP28 which was captured by the Emirates’ oil industry and nuke power promoters who want 3X the reactors we have now.
TATANKA BRICCA then joins in with a description of California Governor Gavin Newsom’s sabotage of the phase-out of two decrepit reactors at Diablo Canyon.
WENDI LEDERMAN, STEVE KAISER and JUSTIN LEBLANC add to the dialog.
“Transgender people will die”: Ohio lawmakers ban healthcare for transgender youth, ban transgender girls from playing sports

This article first appeared in the Buckeye Flame
After more than three years and hearing hundreds of witnesses at the Ohio Statehouse, lawmakers have passed legislation that bans healthcare for transgender youth and prevents transgender girls from competing in sports from kindergarten through college.
After receiving a favorable report from the Senate Government Oversight Committee during its fourth hearing, an amended version of Ohio House Bill (HB) 68 passed 24 to 8 during a full Senate vote Wednesday afternoon.
Wednesday evening, the Ohio House voted 61 to 27 to concur, endorsing the Senate’s amended bill and sending it to Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine for his signature.

Out-of-control venture capitalists throw more millions at disgraced Columbus CEO

Columbus’s shamed CEO Sean Lane – who failed spectacularly with his shadowy and shady AI software which promised to cut administrative costs for healthcare providers – has somehow once again convinced venture capitalists his AI hocus-pocus can save companies millions in labor costs.
Strange indeed, is how Lane incorporated his new company “GhostDog Inc.” on the same day his previous AI company announced it was going belly-up and didn’t want to be sentient after all, this according to the local BizJournal.
Lane was the much-hyped leader behind Olive AI which closed for good after it bamboozled hospitals and venture capitalists it could automate routine administrative tasks, such as uncovering whether a patient’s insurance had lapsed. But as former Olive AI employees so stunningly exposed on Reddit, Lane’s AI may not have even been true AI.

Was Judge’s decision influenced by Ginther’s re-election? They say politics makes strange bedfellows…

Every citizen of Columbus should be alarmed by the recent actions of two local politicians. One politician—who was up for re-election in November-directly contacted a judge to influence a pending civil matter in which he was named a party. And that judge then failed to disclose the full details of such ex parte action until after the election.
As Mayor, Andy Ginther is a party to City of Columbus v Wilson 845 LLC et al 2023 EVH 060592. As disclosed by Judge Stephanie Mingo on December 8, Ginther called the personal cell phone of Judge Mingo with specific needs on the case.
We always hear politicians talk about the need for accountability and full transparency in government. This is the exact opposite for both elected officials.
The timeline as indicated in court filings is important:
